The views were breathtaking, like nature's personal painting hanging on the wall! Each morning, sipping coffee on the patio felt like a scene from a rom-com—except my only romantic interest was the sun rising over the waterfall. The kids played by the giant chess board while the Tui birds serenaded with their sweet melodies. Pure bliss!
Ablution block had minor rubbish.

Very very good stay on a long weekend. Everything is clean and excellent. Location adjacent to waterfalls as well as the nearest supermarket and another couple to the town of Paihia. A terrace, a lounge, and a new carpet available in the family room. Electric blankets, comfortable bed. Good food plus brilliantly helpful and very amiable staff. Easy check-in, parking nearby. The pool is excellent and relaxing too.

We specifically chose this resort because of it's Haruru Falls location, with self-contained unit availability at a reasonable tariff. Found very helpful accommodating people-and-pet-friendly staff with fabulous falls view & sound from our comfortable convenient room + carpark directly outside. Very peaceful and relaxing for a winter break so we spontaneously booked an extra night!
A minor inconvenience but unaware on booking that restaurant would be closed (told on arrival that only pizza-ordering available).

The Haruru Falls Motel & Conference Centre boasts a fantastic location, just a short distance from the river, creating a lovely ambiance. It’s conveniently close to the vibrant town of Paihia and the historic Waitangi Treaty Grounds. The room we booked offered stunning views of both the lake and the beautiful waterfall.

We liked the location and the proximity to Paihia.
You say " don't use for complaints" I've already complained to management and if you don't think that been woken at 6.30am by dogs barking outside your room and those of your guests is worthy of "something I didn't like" I don't see the point of having this column. We will not be returning to Haruru Falls Resort.

Great location with stunning views of the water. Close to the main attractions and restaurants in town. Good value for money with clean sheets and towels provided.
Terrible facilities and customer service. the bathrooms were consistently dirty with a bad odor, and the kitchen was cramped and poorly maintained.

We had a fantastic time staying at a motel near Paihia, just 3kms away. The location was beautiful, with Haruru Falls just a stone's throw away. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Our cabin was clean and tidy, and the manager personally ensured that everything was in order. We enjoyed delicious meals from the on-site restaurant, including pizza and fish and chips. The camp was peaceful in the evenings, perfect for getting our kids to sleep. There were plenty of activities for the children, such as a trampoline, outdoor chess, swimming pool, and even kayaks for hire. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our kids had a great time. we had a spectacular stay and would definitely recommend this place for a holiday.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The location was absolutely stunning, situated right on the waterfront of the lagoon with incredible views towards the Haruru falls. It was so peaceful and tranquil, surrounded by natural forest and the beautiful Waitangi river. The setting was perfect for relaxation and unwinding after a long drive.
We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay. With its stunning location, excellent service, and top-notch amenities, you will not be disappointed.
